An unforgettable day begins early, with a transfer at approximately 5:00 AM to Aswan Railway Station. Board the morning train to Luxor, arriving at approximately 7:00 AM, where you will meet your Egyptologist and travel directly to Luxor’s legendary West Bank.

Explore some of Ancient Egypt’s most iconic sites, including the Valley of the Kings, the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the towering Colossi of Memnon. After your sightseeing, continue to the specially prepared Eclipse Festival venue on Luxor’s West Bank.

The Abela × Amisol Total Solar Eclipse Festival offers a reserved prime viewing area with individual guest space, chairs and umbrellas, water and soft drinks, light refreshments, Abela catering and a freshly grilled festival lunch. Tipping is customary in Egypt and is an important part of the local tourism industry. British passport holders require a visa for travel to Egypt.

You can apply online for an e-visa, which is valid for up to 3 months, or you can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport before immigration. Please note that your passport should also be valid for at least 6 months from arrival into Egypt. Please check the FCDO website for more information.
