Arrive in Buenos Aires and meet your private transfer for the journey to your hotel. After settling in, begin exploring Argentina’s lively capital at your own pace. Perhaps wander through the elegant streets of Recoleta, discover the colourful neighbourhood of La Boca or enjoy an evening of Argentine cuisine and tango.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Buenos Aires before your private transfer to the port. Embark Celebrity Equinox at 17:00 and settle into your stateroom as your Antarctic adventure begins. As the ship sails from Buenos Aires, relax and take in the views while enjoying the restaurants, lounges and facilities on board.

Arrive in Ushuaia at 10:00. Depart at 21:00. 

Known as the “End of the World”, Ushuaia is the world’s southernmost city and sits spectacularly between the Beagle Channel and the mountains of Tierra del Fuego. Explore the town, browse its shops and cafés, or perhaps venture into the surrounding national park before returning to Celebrity Equinox.

Cruise around the legendary Cape Horn, one of the most remote and notorious maritime landmarks in the world. Located at the southern tip of South America, this rugged headland marks where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet. Enjoy the opportunity to admire this dramatic landscape from the comfort of the ship.

Today brings your first unforgettable encounters with Antarctica. Cruise through the spectacular Gerlache Strait, surrounded by towering mountains, glaciers and ice-covered landscapes. Continue through Paradise Bay, renowned for its dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife, before sailing through the beautiful Schollart Channel. Keep watch from the deck for seals, whales and seabirds as the ship navigates these pristine Antarctic waters.

Continue your Antarctic adventure with scenic cruising around Elephant Island, a remote and rugged island lying off the Antarctic Peninsula. Admire its imposing cliffs, glaciers and icy coastline from the ship, with opportunities to spot the wildlife that thrives in this extraordinary polar environment.

After your Antarctic exploration, enjoy a relaxing day at sea aboard Celebrity Equinox. Reflect on the spectacular scenery and wildlife encounters of the past few days while making the most of the ship’s restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities.

Arrive at 08:00. Depart at 17:00.

Arrive in Port Stanley, the colourful capital of the Falkland Islands. Explore its British-influenced heritage, browse the local shops or visit the town’s historic sights. You may also wish to take an excursion into the surrounding countryside to experience the islands’ distinctive landscapes and wildlife.

Spend another relaxing day at sea as Celebrity Equinox continues north towards Argentina. Enjoy the ship’s facilities, perhaps taking time to relax by the pool, dine in one of the restaurants or simply admire the ocean views.

Arrive at 07:00. Depart at 16:00.

Discover Puerto Madryn, a coastal city in Patagonia and gateway to the spectacular wildlife of the Valdés Peninsula. Explore the waterfront and local attractions, or perhaps join an excursion to experience the region’s remarkable landscapes and marine life.

Enjoy a final relaxing day at sea aboard Celebrity Equinox. Take time to enjoy the ship’s restaurants, lounges and entertainment as you sail towards Uruguay and the final port of your cruise.

Arrive at 09:00. Depart at 16:00. 

Explore Montevideo, Uruguay’s relaxed capital, known for its historic architecture, leafy squares and long waterfront promenade. Wander through the atmospheric Ciudad Vieja, visit the Mercado del Puerto or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Rambla before returning to the ship.

Arrive in Buenos Aires at 05:00.

Disembark Celebrity Equinox and meet your private transfer who will take you to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Your overnight flight arrives in the UK ready for you to make your journey home.

UK passport holders do not require a visa to visit Argentina, Chile or Uruguay for tourism for up to 90 days. A visa is also not required to visit the Falkland Islands, where visitors are normally granted permission to stay for up to one month on arrival.

Passports must be valid for the duration of your stay in Argentina, Uruguay and the Falkland Islands. For Chile, your passport should remain valid beyond the date you plan to leave the country. Please refer to the FCDO website for the latest entry requirements and further information.

However, we recommend consulting your GP or a travel health clinic before you travel to ensure your routine vaccinations are up to date and to receive personalised health advice. Hepatitis A vaccination is recommended for previously unvaccinated travellers to Argentina, while additional vaccinations may be advised depending on your individual circumstances and travel plans.
