How One Colleague Saved a Customer’s Holiday
Going Above and Beyond:
At Our Coop, our colleagues are committed to delivering exceptional care and sometimes that means going far beyond what’s expected. One remarkable example comes from Alicia, whose determination and dedication helped rescue a customer’s long-awaited holiday during a stressful passport delay crisis.
With departure fast approaching, the customer a care worker who had been looking forward to a well-earned break discovered their passport had not arrived in time. Facing the very real possibility of cancelling the trip, they turned to Alicia for help. Refusing to give up, Alicia took immediate action. She made an incredible 18 calls, contacting passport offices, helplines and every possible avenue to track down the delayed document. Despite repeated setbacks and long waits, she remained focused on finding a solution.
Her persistence paid off. Alicia was able to locate the passport and ensure it reached the customer just in time turning what could have been a cancelled holiday into a successful and much-needed getaway.
