Arrive at Kochi airport.

Meet and greet provided at the airport followed by private transfers to the hotel for check in.

Enjoy a welcome drink (non-alcoholic) at the hotel on arrival.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kochi. Visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and the Santa Cruz Basilica. Marvel at the Chinese Fishing Nets and explore the historical Fort Kochi area.

In the evening, enjoy a captivating Kathakali dance performance.

Please note some sites and places of worship are closed on Fridays and/or Saturdays which simply means you will get to see these on another day during your stay.

Drive from Kochi to Munnar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, tour the scenic tea plantations of Munnar – visit the Tea Museum, discover how tea leaves are picked and processed, and even pick some tea yourself!

Drive from Munnar to Periyar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Lake. Enjoy a nature walk with a local naturalist, encountering diverse flora and fauna as well as trying to spot wild elephants and bison. For avid bird watchers, look out for migratory birds often seen in this area.

After breakfast, drive from Periyar to Alleppey. On route, visit a Spice Plantation where you can enjoy a tour of the spice gardens and pick up some amazing fresh spices to take home with you.

Once in Alleppey, board one of Kerala’s iconic houseboats. A unique opportunity to spend the night in one of Kerala’s famous houseboats, these iconic house boats, made from bamboo, were used to carry rice from the adjoining paddy fields.

Enjoy lunch onboard and spend the rest of the afternoon cruising through narrow canals and soaking up the charming village life of Kerala.

In the evening, enjoy tea and cookies on board and then dinner. Spend the night on the anchored houseboat by a local village.

After breakfast, disembark the houseboat and check-in at the backwater resort.

Enjoy the picturesque Vembanad Lake and experience what National Geographic Magazine has described as “one of the must-see places in a lifetime”.

Spend the day at your leisure in Kumarakom.

Relax at the backwater resort and indulge in massage and spa treatments.

Paid optional activity: Enjoy a local village experience with tuk tuk ride and boat tour through the backwaters, a true immersive insight into local life (paid locally).

Depart from Kumarakom and drive back to Kochi. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city at your own pace.
