Holidays to Florida 2017/2018
There is more to Florida than just theme parks - it is now America’s most popular holiday destination. Florida 2017/2018 package holidays offer you everything from the sunshine and golden beaches of Miami, the nature reserves and wildlife of the Everglades and Florida Keys and, of course, the adrenaline-filled attractions of Orlando. At Co-operative Travel we offer cheap Florida holidays that are packaged or tailor-made to meet all your travel needs.
The tropical climate, the location and, of course, the theme parks are the primary reasons why bargain holidays to Florida are so popular. A broad jutting peninsula just west of the Bahamas, the jagged coastline is studded with bays, river estuaries, inlets and lagoons. With a seemingly limitless supply of resorts, hotels and holiday villages to choose from, last minute holidays to Florida are never in short supply.
Florida holidays are very popular in Orlando, the Gulf Coast between Tampa and Naples, and East Coast resorts like Miami. You will also find lots of 2017 & 2018 Florida holiday offers at the famous Florida Keys - a string of coral islands located on the southern tip of the Florida peninsula, and connected and accessed by a continuous highway. This is where you’ll find Key West, the USA’s most southernmost point, and Key Largo. With the sophistication and glamour of Miami Beach to the north, late deals in Florida Keys gives you a chance to get back to nature. The Everglades are close by with the highly recommended Anhinga Trail, which we’d recommend using a guided tour to explore fully (and safely!). Or, you can explore the Anhinga’s, Alligators, Turtles, Herons, Limpkins and many other beautiful creatures at your own pace along the part paved and part boardwalk paths. Check out the video at the bottom of this page for a great guide to the many exciting attractions that you can experience whilst on holiday in Orlando.
While Orlando is eternally popular with thrill seekers, Florida package holidays in the Tampa Bay Area, on the Gulf Coast are becoming increasingly popular with families and couples alike. For the ultimate family adventure in Florida, the beautiful 335-acre 19th century African themed Busch Gardens is home to some of the world’s most endangered species and world class roller-coasters. For more culture, you can visit the historic Ybor City - once a cigar-making district and now a designated National Historic Landmark District with a vibrant nightlife. Alternatively, you can book bargain holidays to Florida’s East coast where the Everglades and Cape Canaveral are just a short drive from Miami.
