Cheap Flights and Airline Tickets
If you can’t find the cheap package holiday you want, or prefer a more customised approach to your holiday, you can book the flight and accommodation separately. While this can take a bit more planning, the savings you make can be phenomenal. We at Co-op Travel have flight deals throughout the year, to destinations across the world.
Getting the best cheap flights requires flexibility and forward planning. For example, flights to popular destinations tend to booked up more at weekends than mid-week. So you’ll tend to find the cheapest flight tickets Tuesday to Thursday, when fewer seats are sold.
When booking low cost flights, be flexible which airport you book flights from. Don’t just look at local international airports for flight offers; especially if you live somewhere like Gatwick or Heathrow. Instead, consider one of the secondary airports. Remember, though, that while flights to or from minor airports can cost less, you will have to factor in travel costs. On the other hand, parking is generally a lot cheaper too!
