Nile Cruise Holidays

If you’re fascinated by the culture and mystery of ancient Egypt, then one of our Nile cruises will give you the chance to explore it to the full. As well as cheap Nile cruises, we at Co op Travel also offer cruise-and-stay cruise deals, so you can thrill to the sights of Luxor, Aswam and the Valley of the Kings, and enjoy the delights of the Red Sea Riviera too.

When booking cheap cruises to the Nile, it’s definitely best to arrange things through us, as some Nile cruise vessels are not as luxurious. With our last minute cruises, you can be confident the quality will be of the highest standard, as we only arrange Nile cruises through top leisure operators such as Viking and Oberoi.

A luxury Nile cruise is totally different to an ocean cruising holiday. All Nile cruise vessels are specially built for the unique qualities of the Nile River, and typically carry fewer than 140 passengers. There’s no ballroom or large-scale activity areas; simply a sun deck with a pool and, often, a small fitness room. One or two of the larger vessels have a spa as well. What cheap Nile cruises do offer you is old-fashioned elegance and style, with superb restaurants and bars, and comfortable air-conditioned cabins with full-length views of the river and its attractions.

From the moment a luxury Nile cruise begins, your voyage is one of breath-taking sights and sounds. Cheap, cruises down the Nile always include a full itinerary of excursions, though the number of ports-of-call will vary according to the length of the cruise. An experienced guide (generally academically qualified) will help demystify sights like the City of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings (and Queens); and the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Although the Nile flows through Cairo, Nile cruises do not follow this route. Nonetheless longer cruise deals give you the option to visit the Pyramids at Gaza.
